Description
Asrol , chandan khurd ,choti chandan, اسرول، چندن خورد or Rauvolfia serpentina, the Indian snakeroot, devil pepper, or serpentine wood, is a species of flower belonging to the milkweed family Apocynaceae. It is native to the South and East Asia.

Physicians used Indian snakeroot traditionally in medicine for hypertension and mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and anxiety.
