Salab Panja at sknatural is the root of Dactylorhiza hatagirea. It belongs to family “Orchidaceae”. Commonly known as ‘salam panja’ or ‘hatta haddi’ locally, this herb is referred to as ‘panchaule’ in Nepali and Himalayan regions. The term ‘panchaule’ derives from its root structure, which resembles the fingers of a hand, typically with around 3-5 “fingers”.
