Gaudanti is warm and dry in fourth degree temperamentaly. Generally, It is antibacterial, corrosive, desiccant, blood purifier and externally irritant.

Specification:

Obtained from arsenic ores as arsenates of iron, nickel, or cobalt, commercial arsenious acid is acquired through the roasting of native ores, resulting in a sublimate. Further, upon reacting with oxygen, it transforms into arsenious acid, appearing as a solid, heavy, white powder, or forming stratified masses or minute transparent and glass-like crystals. Arsenious acid is tasteless and soluble in water, glycerine, alcohol, alkalies and their carbonates, as well as hydrochloric acid. After purification, people use it in various preparations. Practitioners prepare realgar (As2S2) by fusing arsenic with 5 parts of sulphur and purify by rubbing it in the juice of lemons or ginger. People also incorporate arsenic into ointments for chronic skin ailments and used as a caustic agent for drying haemorrhoids.

Recommended dosage:
