Description
Lota saji or natural Sodium Carbonate is the salt of sodium. Sodium is also known as Natrum, which is derived from the Arabic word Natrun. In reality, it is Sodium Carbonate. Lota saji is somewhat clear, especially when they prepare it from herbs. Specifically, they make it from Salsola soda, which is salty and sharp. It is better when it is clear and jet black. They include it in powders to strengthen the stomach and intestines and to correct digestion. Also it expels phlegm in coughs and colds. In a small amount, along with other medicines, it is a moderate diuretic and pain reliever for the kidneys.
Toxic effects or poisonous symptoms. Consuming it in large quantities causes severe burning and pain in the mouth and throat. Vomiting and diarrhea begin. And due to severe weakness, the patient dies.
