Description
Todri Safaid at sknatural is Cheiranthus cheiri Linn. It belongs to family “Cruciferae/Brassicaceae”. Generally people use its seeds and flowers. It is warm in second order, moist in first order. It is of three types white, red, and yellow. Its flower blooms at night. It tastes quite bitter.
This herbaceous perennial, typically cultivated as a biennial, features one or more highly branching stems that can reach heights of 15–80 cm (6–31 in). The leaves are generally narrow, reaching lengths of up to 20 cm (8 in).
In the lower area, the upright to ascending shoot axes may lignify. The lower leaves, positioned in a rosette, have short stalks, while the leaf blade, lanceolate and up to 10 centimeters long, adorns itself with double-stranded hair. The leaves along the stem axis are densely packed, much smaller, and nearly sessile.

Properties:
Emmenagogue, lactagogue, aphrodisiac (increase semen production), cardiac tonic, depurative, deobstruent, resolvent, expectorant and stomachic. The drug exhibits antimalarial, antiarrthymic, and also cardiotonic activities.
Recommended dosage:
7 to 10 g. Traditionally no one reported known toxicity following use of recommended doses – however, physicians advise it to be prescribed or administered with care (i.e. following confirmed diagnosis).

Generally todri safaid seeds or flowers, known for their desirable actions as an antiphlegmatic and expectorant, lactagogue, and producer of seminal fluid and viscous aphrodisiac. Additionally, healthcare providers dispense them in linctus as an expectorant for phlegm in cases of cough, bronchitis, and asthma.
Furthermore, Todri resolves inflammations and proves useful in treating paralysis, impotence (spermatorrhea), fevers, eye afflictions, uterine disorders, and hepatic debility or insufficiency. Physicians also administered or applied it in a suitable vehicle to dissolve enlarged glands and treat blind ulcers, warts, or hard swellings (or sores).
