Sana Makki India | سناءمکی

Sana makki India is Cathartic, especially useful in habitual constipation. In therapeutic doses it increases the peristaltic movements of the colon.




Sana Makki India at sknatural or senna is Cassia senna LINN. It belongs to family “Cesalpinaceae”. Senna is an herb that comes from several different flowering species of the Cassia plants. Generally, People have been using the leaves, flowers, and fruits of the senna plant in tea as a laxative or stimulant for centuries. They also use the leaves of the senna plant in some teas to help relieve constipation or promote weight loss. It is warm and dry in first order.

Medicinal uses:

Generally, administering the leaves of Senna to children and the elderly requires a moderately active purge. Senna’s ability to expel harmful humors makes it beneficial in treating periodic fevers that resist conventional treatments, as well as rheumatism of phlegmatic or bilious origin, backache, sciatica, gout, and asthma. Additionally, Senna’s recognized effectiveness as a blood purifier leads to its prescription for chronic skin conditions.

Occasionally, people use it as a cordial, particularly when combining it with other suitable drugs like violets. Medical professionals widely recommend Senna for treating constipation, loss of appetite, liver complaints, abdominal cramps, splenic enlargement, dyspepsia, typhoid, jaundice, anemia, also leprosy, symptoms of poisoning, foul breath, bronchitis, tumors, and more.

While Sana makki India has the potential to induce vomiting and may cause colic if used alone, it is typically advised to be taken alongside corrective measures such as rose, Anisun, or rose preserve (gulqand). Sana makki India
